this is all of googles logos over the years and they are all wordmark logos and the most effective one by a bit is the newest logo as it is presented in big bold letters it is flat and not confusing. there is not much change with the logos though except for the first to the second logo in where the hard to read fallen over 3d letters turned into the normal 2d flat logo.
